Methow Trails is honored to have received a $5000 check from REI today to help with our work on increasing the care and access to Methow Valley outdoor recreation.  We are using this additional funding towards the work we have been doing on the Methow Valley Community Trail.

We added a new bridge this spring, added trail surfacing, and leveled out many parts of the trail.  The main goal of this work is to provide a better skiing, fat biking trail and snowshoe system in the winter but access to this trail is year-round also providing a hiking and biking trail from Winthrop's town edge to connector trails at Sun Mountain and Mazama.
