StorySki is a 1 kilometer cross-country ski trail lined with the children's story Polar Opposites. This ski trail allows young skiers and their families to ski while reading the entire story of Alex the polar bear and Zina the penguin. 18 colorful story-panels line the trail -- for a self-guided storybook tour. Methow Valley author, Erik Brooks will also offer a guided StorySki on three holiday weekends throughout the winter.
StorySki will rotate to three different locations throughout the winter in the Methow Valley. From now through January 13th, StorySki will be located at the Mazama Corral Trailhead. Author Erik Brooks will lead his first guided tour on Sunday December 26th at 11am.
